Love, Justice, & Generosity
Beauty in the mountains, frustrating weather, generosity is contagious.
A thought on Love:
At 4:30 am we arrived at Moraine Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in all of Canada. A few close friends and I had arrived in Banff the night before. Hundreds of people gathered to watch the sunrise and the reflection of the sun on the bright turquoise water. Mountains were towering all around us. It was one of the most awe-inspiring moments I’ve ever experienced. In the serenity, a thought occurred to me. What if we looked at one another the same way we looked at these mountains. Not seeing the imperfections, but seeing the beauty that each person has to offer. I think the world would be a more loving place.

A thought on Justice:
These past few weeks in the Pacific Northwest and across the U.S, snow, freezing rain, and other intense weather conditions have impacted travel plans and created disruptions. With the frustrations that have come, I have been reminded, by driving through my neighborhood in Seattle, of the people who currently do not have a door to close to protect them from the elements. May we keep those people in our thoughts and prayers during this winter season.
A thought on Generosity:
Generosity is contagious. Keep practicing.
A question for the day:
Who is one person you should reach out to today and what is stopping you from reaching out?
